Privacy Policy
This policy describes what Towing Kalamazoo learns about you when you visit towingkalamazoo.com, call us, or use our towing and roadside services, and what we do with that information. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Details you give us on the phone or by email: your name, phone number and email address, and anything you tell us about your situation.
- Job details: where your vehicle is, where it’s going, its year, make, model, color and plate, and notes our operator makes about its condition when it’s loaded.
- Ownership documents: when we release a stored vehicle or open a locked one, we look at a photo ID and registration or title to confirm it’s yours.
- Website visits: basic technical data your browser sends to any website, such as the pages viewed, the type of device and the referring site. We don’t ask you to create an account, and the site has no forms that collect personal details.
How it’s used
We use this information to dispatch a truck, find you, complete the job, keep a record of vehicles in our storage lot, and contact you about your vehicle. Website data helps us see which pages people find useful so we can improve them.
When it’s shared
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising. Information leaves our hands only:
- with a repair shop, insurer or other party you ask us to work with, such as an adjuster inspecting your car;
- with police, where Michigan law requires it, for example when a vehicle is towed from private property;
- with service providers who help us run the business, such as phone and website hosting, and who may only use it for that purpose;
- when a court order, subpoena or similar legal process requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.
Cookies
The site itself doesn’t set advertising cookies. Your browser may store small files for things like fonts, and our hosting provider may keep standard server logs. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings without losing access to anything on this site.
How long we keep it
We hold on to job and storage records only while the work, our bookkeeping or a legal duty gives us a reason to. After that they’re deleted or shredded.
Keeping it safe
Records are kept with access limited to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
Children
Our services are for drivers and vehicle owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
